An earlier photo of the Cripple Creek Coal Mine before the additions to the right side of it were done. This mine survived a move from Houston to Crockett Texas, then from Crockett to Lovelady, and then to Huntingburg Indiana, and then back to Lovelady. It has held up real well considering that it is constructed of mostly balsa wood. The mine was built in 1960, the year my first son was born. Photo by Lee Turner sometime after he was born.
