This is yet another photo of the Cripple Creek Mine. The corrugated siding on the end of the buildings was hand made by my first wife. Using a large wood rasp and a lollipop stick, she lay strips of aluminum foil across the butt of the file, and with the shaped lollipop stick, (preshaped on the file), drug it across the foil on the file to make the corrugations, and attached the foil to the buildings with contact cement. This method is a lot cheaper than buying pre-formed siding that "Campbell Models" and other model suppliers sell, it is a little time consuming, but it is well worth the effort. This photo was also made before the right side details were added, and yes the workmen are still building the stair and walkway railings on this end of the building.
